Census Bureau: More women than men in Belmont in 2017


Of the 2,399 people living in Belmont in 2017, 54.4 percent (1,305) were women and 45.6 percent (1,094) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Keystone Business News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 660-to-611. In the 65 years and over age range, there were 456 females and 323 males.
