Census Bureau: More women than men in Beaver County in 2017


Of the 168,161 people living in Beaver County in 2017, 51.5 percent (86,555) were women and 48.5 percent (81,606) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Keystone Business News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 51,227-to-50,236. In the 65 years and over age range, there were 19,332 females and 14,302 males.
