Cost of college went up for all students at Pennsylvania Gunsmith School


Tuition and fees rose 3.7 percent for 2018-19 at Pennsylvania Gunsmith School, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $26,208 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $936 more than the $25,272 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 68 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 14 students received grants or scholarships totaling $75,676 and 13 students took out student loans totaling more than $69,750.

Including all undergraduates (72), 55 students used grants or scholarships totaling $204,887, and 34 students took out $236,510 in federal student loans.
