Erie Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 4.
Peek’n Peak Resort is preparing for a new signature event, The Peak Uncorked Wine & Spirits Festival from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, September 14.
Featured wineries and distilleries will include Ryder Estate Winery of California, Merritt Winery, Lakeward Spirits, Erie Distillery, Five & 20 Spirits & Brewing, Woodbury Vineyards, Thirsty Owl, Mazza Chautauqua Cellars, 6 Mile Cellars and Becker Farms.
During the festival, guests will enjoy live entertainment by musical groups Katie & Jack and Rankin & Schell. Guests may then take a chairlift ride, enjoying spectacular views of Chautauqua County’s changing foliage while sipping a delicious wine. Outdoor fire pits, yard games and a caricature artist will also be available.
Tickets to the festival are only $40 per person and will include tastings from ten wineries and distilleries and savory bites including vintage aged cheese from Cabot Cheese. Guests will also receive a souvenir wine glass, corkscrew/bottle stopper and wine tote bag.
Guests may also purchase a VIP Festival Experience for an additional $25 which includes early access to the festival with an exclusive and intimate wine tasting presentation by the experts at Ryder Estate Winery of Monterey County, California. During the presentation, guests will be blindfolded and guided through blind tastings of three varieties of Pinot Noir and three varieties of Sauvignon Blanc from Ryder Estate’s 4,000 acres of vineyards along the West Coast. The VIP Festival Experience also includes a souvenir wine glass, corkscrew/bottle stopper and a premium wine tote.
Following the Festival, guests may unwind at Peek’n Peak’s popular summer concert series, Bonfires & Brews which will feature live music by DTO alongside free lawn games, s’mores, craft beers, freshly grilled food and of course - a giant bonfire!
Peek’n Peak will also be indulging wine lovers during a 3 Course Wine Pairing Dinner on Friday Evening. Diners will enjoy a captivating menu crafted by the culinary team at Peek’n Peak’s Bistro 210. Tickets to this exclusive event are already sold out.
