Columbus had a population of 720 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Keystone Business News.

Columbus is a census-designated place in Pennsylvania. The median age of Columbus residents was 51, with 55.6 percent of the total population being female and 44.4 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 12,790,505.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
