Census Bureau reports Birmingham population was 150 in 2017


Birmingham, Pennsylvania had a population of 150 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Keystone Business News.

The median age was 36, with 64 percent of the total population being female and 36 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 12,790,505.

An agency of the U.S. Federal Statistical System, the Census Bureau is responsible for compiling statistical facts about the American people, places and economy. Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
