Graduates earn 1,476 degrees, certificates from Pennsylvania College of Technology


About 26.6 percent of the 1,476 degrees and certificates handed out by Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2017-18 were to students in engineering technology and engineering-related fields programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Williamsport conferred 243 bachelor's degrees and 148 associate's degrees in engineering technology and engineering-related fields programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in registered nursing/registered nurse. Data shows the school gave out 66 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse, followed by 55 associate's degrees in automobile/automotive mechanics technology/technician and 51 associate's degrees in heavy equipment maintenance technology/technician.

The college enrolled 5,457 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
