Graduates earn 435 degrees, certificates from Salus University


About 97.5 percent of the 435 degrees and certificates handed out by Salus University in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Park conferred 211 doctor's degrees and 190 master's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a doctor's degree in optometry. Data shows the school gave out 157 doctor's degrees in optometry, followed by 87 master's degrees in occupational therapy/therapist and 49 doctor's degrees in audiology/audiologist.

The university enrolled 1,141 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in 1141 programs.
