The two-year public institution in Philadelphia enrolled 17,296 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 2.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

94 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 1 percent are residents of other states. 3 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (46 percent) and white (22 percent).
