73 percent of applicants to Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania were admitted for fall 2017

The four-year public institution in Bloomsburg enrolled 9,260 students in fall 2017, including 8,579 in undergraduate and 681 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

91 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 9 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (79 percent) and Black or African American (8 percent).

The school admitted 73 percent of the 9,683 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 26 percent enrolled.
