Cheyney University of Pennsylvania enrolls 723 undergrads


At Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, 89 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 52 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Cheyney enrolled 755 students in fall 2017, including 723 in undergraduate and 32 in graduate programs, data shows. 8.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

52 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 48 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (78 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (5 percent).
