83 percent of applicants to Robert Morris University were admitted for fall 2017


At Robert Morris University, 86 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Moon Township enrolled 5,076 students in fall 2017, including 4,243 in undergraduate and 833 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

76 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 17 percent are residents of other states. 7 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (73 percent) and Black or African American (6 percent).

The school admitted 83 percent of the 6,407 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 16 percent enrolled.
