89 percent of applicants to Lock Haven University were admitted for fall 2017


At Lock Haven University, 91 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 58 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Lock Haven enrolled 3,827 students in fall 2017, including 3,472 in undergraduate and 355 in graduate programs, data shows. 4.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

94 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 6 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (81 percent) and Black or African American (10 percent).

The school admitted 89 percent of the 3,020 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 29 percent enrolled.
