About 39.3 percent of the 484 degrees and certificates handed out by the Cedar Crest College in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Allentown conferred 124 bachelor's degrees and 50 certificates in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Data shows the school gave out 108 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, followed by 38 master's degrees in Education, General and 28 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General.

The college enrolled 1,669 students for 2016-17, including 1,428 in undergraduate programs and 241 in graduate programs.
