About 39.5 percent of the 109 degrees and certificates handed out by the Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Lehigh Valley in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Valley conferred 39 bachelor's degrees and 2 associate's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, General. Data shows the school gave out 24 bachelor's degrees in Business/Commerce, General, followed by 21 bachelor's degrees in Psychology, General and 15 bachelor's degrees in Business/Corporate Communications.
The university enrolled 877 students for 2016-17, including 868 in undergraduate programs and 9 in graduate programs.
