Graduates earn 3,246 degrees, certificates from Pennsylvania State University-World Campus


About 30.4 percent of the 3,246 degrees and certificates handed out by the Pennsylvania State University-World Campus in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Park conferred 554 master's degrees and 307 bachelor's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in Management Sciences and Quantitative Methods, Other. Data shows the school gave out 223 master's degrees in Management Sciences and Quantitative Methods, Other, followed by 193 master's degrees in Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Firefighting and Related Protective Services, Other and 163 bachelor's degrees in Business/Commerce, General.

The university enrolled 13,411 students for 2016-17, including 7,919 in undergraduate programs and 5,492 in graduate programs.
