Coconino County Parks and Recreation is requesting proposals for use of the Frontiere Property at Rogers Lake.
This land, located about 10 miles southwest of Flagstaff, was donated to the county by Georgia Frontiere’s estate in 2011. The property also includes residential buildings, garage space and a horse barn.
In the past, the property has been used for outdoor recreation programs, weddings, business, other retreats, and as an artist in residency program site for the Northern Arizona University College of Arts and Letters.
The county is looking for public or private professionals “possessing the knowledge, experience and expertise to manage and operate” such a property.
The request for proposals includes the property and facility details as well as proposal requirements and evaluation criteria. This can be found on the County website. The initial proposal deadline is March 21.
