Government Contracting Showcase 2015 details released

The Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance (NEPA) recently unveiled details on the 2015 Government Contracting Showcase (GCS), set for April 9 at Northampton Community College-Monroe Campus in Tannersville and hosted by the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC).

GCS is a training event day that allows attendees to gain information on doing business with different governmental agencies at different levels, all the way up to the federal government.

Workshops will be available on topics such as developing networking opportunities with government agencies and their purchasing departments, especially agencies that specialize in economic development, and how to conduct contracting business with government officials.

This year, the keynote speaker is state Rep. Tom Marino (R-Dist. 10), who will make his presentation at the luncheon.

The event will take place 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST. Registration runs through March 25, and the cost to attend is $30 and will cover the presentations, workshops, lunch and access to the exhibition area.

Those interested in attending should register on the NEPA website.
A block of rooms will be available at $77 per room at the Chateau Resort and Conference Center in Tannersville if you register with the code "NEPA Alliance." This rate expires on March 8. The hotel can be reached at 1-800-245-5900.
