Walnut Street Labs and Goshen team up to promote tech opportunities

The Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry said Tuesday that Goshen Group and Walnut St. Labs are collaborating to fill information technology positions for businesses in the southeast region of Pennsylvania.

Wall St. Labs added Tech Jobs, a job searching portal, to its website. Employers can use Tech Jobs to find qualified employees. Job seekers can search the site for jobs with high-tech companies. Companies are able to post job openings on a per position basis on the site.

“Adding a jobs platform is an organic next step for Walnut St. Labs,” Walnut St. Labs founder Chris Dima said. “We first attracted local developers, designers and innovators and then we started discussions with a lot of companies. We were spending a lot of time using email to connect them to each other. So we decided to build a website and service that provides these valuable introductions.”

Goshen Group specializes in staffing for IT related companies and jobs. Goshen said with an increasing demand for app and mobile developers, companies are struggling to find the right people for these types of jobs.

Traditional recruiting efforts only reach a small percentage of the candidate population. Our goal is to build relationships within the developer community and Walnut St. Labs provides the perfect venue,” Goshen Group founder PJ Viloski said.
