SEI Women's Network Leadership Summit set for Wednesday

The first SEI Women's Network Leadership Summit will take place in Philadelphia on Wednesday.

SEI Chairman and CEO Alfred P. West Jr. will partake in an interview session during the event, which also will include a keynote address by Jami Wintz McKeon, partner and chair of Morgan, Lewis and Bockius LLP.

Panel discussions, breakout sessions and presentations designed to help women grow personally and professionally are scheduled for the summit, which starts at 1:30 p.m.

More than 200 registrants from the Philadelphia business community are expected to attend. 

"This event is the natural next step in the ongoing growth and reach of the SEI Women's Network," Erin Garrett, SEI Women's Network board president, said. "We recognized long ago both the challenges and opportunities for women in the workplace, and we are committed to providing support and guidance to this critical group. This will be an exciting and informative day with some amazing speakers, and we hope this event will become a staple for our company and women in the region."

SEI specializes in investment processing, investment management and investment operations solutions by working with corporations, financial institutions, financial advisers and wealthy families to manage their portfolios.

Originally formed in 2007, the SEI Women's Network provides educational forums, hosting and networking opportunities. The organization has hosted more than 30 programs with 3,000 participants. Past events have included golf outings, support of and workshops on a wide range of subjects.
