Citadel Bank held the grand opening of its new branch at 401 Upland Square Drive in Pottstown on Wednesday.
The new location is the third full-service Citadel branch to open in Montgomery County in the last year. It joins branches in East Norriton and Audobon.
“We are excited to introduce area residents to our newest branch and to the benefits of banking with Citadel,” Citadel President and CEO Jeff March said. “Our expansion into Montgomery County is further testament to our commitment to providing the very best value on a full range of banking services, and the convenience of having Citadel branches where customers live and work.”
The Pottstown branch has two full-service automatic teller machines (ATM) in the lobby, a coin counting machine, two drive-thru lanes and a drive-up ATM. The branch offers free checking, low-interest loans and online and mobile banking.
The branch is offering promotions of up to $200 in gift cards to new customers opening checking accounts.
A new branch office also opened this year in Glen Mills, Delaware County and the bank's first Bucks County branch will open in Warminster next year.
