Hobby Lobby to open new store in Washington, Penn.

Hobby Lobby will hold a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony at 9 a.m. on Oct. 6 for its newest store in South Starbane Township.

The Washington, Pennsylvania, store is the national craft supply chain's 10th store in Pennsylvania and the second in the southwestern part of the state. The other store is in Robinson Township. 

The chain has 600 locations around the country, with plans to open a total of 68 stores in 2014. The stores feature a multitude of departments including floral, fabrics, arts and crafts, jewelry and paper crafting supplies with more than 70,000 crafting and decorative products available. 

Bryan Lyerly will manage the new 55,000-square-foot store at 80 Old Mill Blvd.

The store will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
