The Department of General Services will sell approximately 500 vehicles during the final Pennsylvania vehicle auction of 2014 at the Manheim Central Penn Auto Auction in Grantville on Tuesday.
“We are closing out the year with a wide variety of vehicles for interested buyers,” General Services Secretary Sheri Phillips said. “As always, we look to offer quality vehicles at a fair price. And with the holidays approaching, this auction is a great opportunity to find a really nice gift for someone special.”
The auction will feature vehicles seized by state law enforcement agencies, including trucks, SUVs, sedans and motorcycles.
A public preview of the vehicles will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Monday at Manheim.
Buyers can register for the auction from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday. Bidding begins at 10 a.m.
Vehicles can only be paid for with cash or certified funds – money orders, cashier's checks, certified checks or bank checks – all made payable to “Manheim Central Penn Auto Auction.”
All revenue generated from the auction will be returned to the commonwealth.
The Manheim Central Penn Auto Auction is at 488 Firehouse Road.
