The Pike County Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed four new businesses, Peebles Department Store, World Financial Group Inc., the Paint Parade and Van Gorders’ Furniture.
Peebles Department Store opened its 200th branch in the Westfall Town Center. This is the 35th Peebles branch in Pennsylvania. For shoppers, Peebles has a Premier Rewards credit card program and other perks. Individuals interested in employment can apply at www.peebles.com.
World Financial Group Inc. provides a variety of services in Milford, including life insurance, retirement and investments counseling and asset protection. The company is owned by Fidel Anthony Castro and Ken Kremsner. Their philosophy is to "always do the right thing for our clients every time."
The Paint Parade also recently opened in Milford. The family-owned company offers open paint times, plaster painting, BYOB Sip & Paint classes and Mommy/Daddy & Me sessions. It also sells Sandy Candy and offers Parents' Night Out on Fridays when parents can drop their children off for a painting session.
Van Gorders’ Furniture, a fourth-generation family-owned company, opened its third showroom in historic Milford. The diversity of furniture ranges from traditional brands to rustic lodge products. The company has been in business for more than 75 years.
