Wolf budget would weigh heavily on southeastern-region hospitals

The Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council, an independent state agency responsible for addressing escalating health costs, released a study recently that said about 40 percent of southeastern Pennsylvania hospitals showed losses in 2014. Pennsylvania unemployment stays at 5.3% for April

Pennsylvania's unemployment rate for April was 5.3 percent, the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry said Friday in its employment report for April 2015.  The Keystone State’s overall unemployment rate was unchanged from March, the agency said. In comparison with the nation, Pennsylvania’s rate came in at one-tenth of a percentage point below the U.S. rate of 5.4 percent. State commission contracts with Dawood for infrastructure projects

Dawood Engineering has been selected to work with the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) on an ongoing basis to provide design services across a wide spectrum of projects, the company said last week.
